LE LE VIDEOCLIP: STYROFOAM PEOPLE

Het uitgangspunt voor deze video van Le Le is de natte droom van elke propmaker: robots. De visuele referenties van regisseur Ewoudt Boonstra gingen van Kraftwerk tot de illustraties van Piet Para (die ook in de band zit). Het moest retro zijn, het moest strak zijn, maar niet te gelikt of futuristisch. Een aanwijzing die net zo duidelijk als uitdagend was. Het eindresultaat bestond uit deze natuurlijke maar strakke (en écht bewegende) vogel-bots.
This video for electro and pop inspired band Le Le had a starting point that would get every prop maker cheering on his/her chair: robots. References of director Ewoudt Boonstra were ranging from Kraftwerk to the illustrations of Dutch artist Piet Parra (who is also part of the band). It had to be retro, it had to be sleek, but definitely not too designy or futuristic. A description that was as clear as it was challenging. It resulted in these very naturalistic and real moving bird bots.
